The Puzzle
Today I want to share another story of encouragement from my mom’s illness. When we first went to see the radiation doctor, we walked in feeling apprehensive and unsure of what to expect. I looked around the waiting room and noticed a table with puzzle pieces scattered across it. The puzzle was barely started—maybe just a few pieces put together. My mom and I have always loved puzzles, so I began fumbling around, trying to match a few pieces while we waited for our appointmen

When I was young I remember my Mom writing tunes to scripture. She used it to help memorize quickly. At the time I didn’t fully understand but I've grown I've incorporated it as a tool in my own life. It’s amazing that some of the little songs she wrote way back then still echo in my heart today! Step Into His Glory
Today is my Mom's 2nd heavenly birthday. There have been a few things in life I have frankly told the Lord - I cannot face that. Losing my Mom was one. So when the words terminal brain cancer were announced, I was suprised. My heart - though totally broken also simultaneouly confindent that the LORD KNEW ALL ALONG this day would come. And like He always does...He gave strength when I needed it. HIS STRENGTH. Strength coupled with the strange tension of deep sorrow. Oh ho
